My love for sh(i/o)rt

It is summer in Australia and it calls for a good shirt and a pair of denim shorts. Summer in here can get pretty hot and all I want is to put on as minimal clothing as possible.

A good linen or cotton shirt will be perfect for this weather. Im wearing my favourite bralette under to give some extra touch and pair it with a denim shorts. This will give you a casual but stylish look for summer, plus I’m wearing my current favourite metallic flat shoes from Therapy Shoes that will brighten up your look, also my new bag from Charles and Keith that looks small but has more space than you think.

How I style my slip dress!

Summer is coming really soon in Australia and a slip dress will be one of my go to’s for the hot weather, it is easy to wear and easy to dress it up or down.

I found this plain black slip dress from Niki Belle but I can’t find it on their website, so if you are in Adelaide go check it out in store 😉

6 ways I style my slip dress

1. Keep it simple with heels and some jewellery

Valentino heels from The Style Set (Muse Boutique). It’s one of the most comfortable heels I have! These heels are on sale at Muse Boutique and they have some other colours as well.

Earrings are from Lovisa which is one of my most favourite jewellery stores. They have really good affordable jewellery and accessories.

2. Go casual with shorts and slippers! And don’t forget to put sunnies on 🕶

Wearing my black denim shorts from Neuw Denim that I got a while ago. Denim shorts are a must have for summer! I can’t find the exact shorts that I have but they have a similar one called Lola Short.

My furry slippers are from Tony Bianco. They come in nude with the fur, and plain black or white. These are really comfy slippers that still looks cool and stylish!

3. If you don’t like wearing shorts, go rock your jeans or pants 👖

My denim jeans are from Ware Denim that I got from Asos. I got this quite a while ago so I can’t fine it anymore, but I found a similar one at Asos.

4. Have your denim jacket handy!

If you live in Australia, you know how the weather can be. One day it’s sunny and hot, then the next day it’s rainy and cold! This could even happened in one day, so always have your denim jacket handy!

My denim jacket is from Stradivarius and it’s been with me since high school! It still fits good though, because I’m actually skinnier now. I found similar denim jacket from Showpo

Adidas original sneaker with rose gold stripes that you can find on JD Sports.

5. Mix it with skirt! 💃🏼

Getting girly with this ruffle skirt and rocking the gingham trend. I don’t wear ruffle skirt much but I thought why not for this summer, and I’m actually loving it! I think I will have more skirts filling up my wardrobe from now on.

This really cute midi length gingham ruffle skirt is from Dissh. This is my first purchase from them but I’m loving it so much. Definitely will be becoming one of my favourite shop!

6. Girls night out or date night 🥂

Dressing this slip dress up with some flaire pants. I’ve been loving flaire pants or wide leg pants since last year, and I think it still gonna be with me for quite a while 😉

These white flaire pants are from Bardot. I couldn’t find the exact white one but I found something similar in black from Bardot as well.

So, that’s the 6 ways I style a slip dress. I would like to hear your ideas on how you style yours or if you have any suggestions for me. Please leave a comment and don’t forget to like and share.

Thank you!

Mustard ?!

Do you like mustard? Yes I apparently do, but what I mean here is the colour mustard not the sauce mustard which I love as well 😄

As the weather is getting hotter and you know summer is coming, I’m in a “mission” to brighten up my closet. This mustard colour has been catching my eyes for quite a long time and finally got my hands on it.

I found this top at The Label Style Market by Ellery Event Australia a few weeks ago. This market introducing local South Australia businesses. I was just browsing and wondering around when I saw this top at one of the stall called Shop Little Lovers. I fell in love as soon as I saw it and voila I bought it straight away! It comes in one size but it’s pretty easy to be adjusted because of the tie aroud the waist. It’s a really cute top for summer, isn’t it? Check out their instagram here ➡️ Shop Little Lovers.

Pants – Witchery (It’s not the same one) / Silver flats – Therapy Shoes / Watch – Fossil / Sunnies – Anca

Thanks to my friend behind the camera, Raneil 😘 Check out her blog Sugar and Shoes and also her Instagram account _sugarandshoes_

I’m thinking to make another blog about how I style this top on defferent occasion or seasons. Let me know what do you think and leave a comment below. Don’t forget to like, share and also check out my instagram account! Thanks 😘

The heat is finally here! ☀️🔥

You know it’s a perfect Sunday weather when it hits 27°! It’s neither too hot or too cold and you know it is time to hit the beach plus I can finally wear my new bikini  set from Seafolly. Also I’m wearing Seafolly sunnies that I got last year.

Port Willunga is one of my favorite beach so far in South Australia. It’s about 40 min drive from Adelaide city. It has a perfect clean sandy beach and clear blue water with some remains of the wooden piles from the old jetty that still standing and also some small caves on the cliff where they used to store the boats back in the day. This caves are the perfect spot to hide from the sun if it gets too hot 😁

Styling the old uniform pants❓WHY NOT ‼️

Found my old uniform pants while cleaning up my closet yesterday and decided to wear it! Why not right? I came out with a casual look, pairing it with a white crop tee and sneakers.

White crop tee (Bardot) / Adidas sneakers (JD Sports) / New Era NY cap (Asos) / Oroton Bag (I can’t find it anywhere online, but I think it still available in some store in other colours) / Bound It cuff and ring (Minimalist Jewellery)

The Birthday Week!

Last Thursday was my Birthday. First is work but it’s only a half day shift 😉. My work friends surprise me with a birthday cake which is really good!! At night I went for birthday dinner with my boy friend at Spaghetti Western Saloon. I don’t have many photos of the food as I’m too hungry 😂

I’m wearing black tanktop that I don’t remember where from, black shorts from Bardot, white vest from Forever New, nude flat shoes from Salvatore Ferragamo, my bag from Oroton and my ring is from Minimalist Jewellery

On Saturday, of course it’s a night out and yes I’m too excited till I forgot to take a photos, but I do have one!

On Saturday, I’m wearing a dress from Showpo and heels from Windsor Smith.
